Inspired by my childhood, I used to create forts with blankets, and then have reading contests with my brother. Occassionally if my brother weren't available, I'd have a nice cozy imaginary friend to keep me company. Oil on panel, 24 x 18"
haha, well my bro and I would just have stacks of books, adn we'd beat eachother through the piles. Kinda stupid. And yeah, I understand what you mean about it being disorienting. the fact that my camera can't take a good picture of it doesn' thelp. I always have to crop some part out. Oh well. Thanks for the comment!
So.... I'm 22, but I made a fort in my living room just last week... I couldnt help it. There were 3 couches, two extra matresses, and I just happened to have a few extra comforters laying about. Then, I sat with a flashlight, a bag of rolled up socks, and two other friends and waited for my sister to come in the room. Who could pass up such an opportunity? Heh heh heh....
Devious Comments
blanket forts were probably the best part about being a kid, snow forts and tunnels were great too.
how do you have a reading contest?

2% of all teenagers are gullible, pretentious and full of themselves because they think anyone cares about what they haven't done.
